Steven Fisher brings over 30 years of leadership, consulting, and executive management skills to his clients. He has helped them to focus on structured growth, cash flow optimization and maximizing shareholder value. Through his practice, Steve provides services which include a focus on operational finance, mergers, acquisitions and carve outs. In addition, Steve also offers services such as, financial analysis and modeling, risk management, business exit strategy, post-acquisition integration support, streamlining financial and procedural policies, operational procedures development, and creating monitoring and accountability systems.
Prior to consulting, Steve served as the CFO of a national financial services firm. Through several strategic acquisitions and a focus on internal growth, Steve helped grow the firm from start up to over $95 million in annual revenues. The firm developed from having a small regional footprint to eventually becoming a successful nationwide enterprise supporting dozens of offices and hundreds of advisors. In 2014 the firm was successfully sold. Steve worked extensively on the exit by leading the pre-acquisition due diligence process and implementing the post-acquisition integration, reporting and procedural changes required by the new ownership.
Steve has worked as a management consultant helping clients throughout North America in such diverse industries as transportation, manufacturing, and professional/commercial services. It’s this experience and his C-Suite background that cemented his ability to identify root causes of problems and provide tailored, professional solutions to his clients.
Steve has an extensive background in financial and service industries, franchise business models, business integration and managing explosive growth. Steve holds a bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and brings an engineering mindset to the CFO role.
